Downtown Fireworks Return After Three-Year Budget Hiatus

The waterfront fireworks display returned Thursday night after a three-year absence caused by budget shortfalls, drawing what police estimated as the largest crowd since before the hiatus began.
This year's show was funded through a combination of city funds and sponsorships from four local businesses.
